Real-time Preview
See your page take shape as you code it. The preview is updated to display changes in real-time. The preview can also be hidden for full-screen code editing.

Pre-coded HTML Elements
Save time by inserting pre-coded elements into your page. The most common HTML elements are included in the Insert menu and toolbox, and more can be added with plugins.

Java Applet Environment
Create, compile, and export Java Applets with the Java Applet Environment. Code the Applet's classes in the JAE, and compile them from there. You can insert them into VayT right from the menu.

Plugins
Customize VayT with plugins. Plugins allow you to use tools or other modifications not available with the basic package release of VayT. Additional tags are added as plugins.

Import RTF Files
Import and convert Rich Text files into HTML. This is useful for hosting essays, documents, or plans & schematics online.

Snippets Library
Save commonly used code for reuse. Any code can be saved to the Snippets library for archiving and reusing.

Syntax Highlighting
Tags, attributes, values, and text are all colour coded for easy reading and editing.

Page Generator
Generate a simple page with the page generator. The page generator will create a page based on information given. This is useful for getting started on a page.

Free License Templates
Beautiful and functional templates are available for easy editing and use. Stuck for a design? Use a template!

Table Generator
Create tables quickly and easily. Just enter the table properties and it is generated for you. No confusion or missing end tags.

Export Helper
Copy linked files to a single directory. Files linked on the hard drive will be moved to a single directory and absolute values will be replaced with relative paths.

External Preview
View your page in your default browser to get a better feel of how it will appear.

AutoClose Tag Closing
Let VayT close your tags automatically. Detects the current tag and whether or not it requires an end tag, then closes the tag if required.

Hide Preview
The preview can be hidden for full-screen code editing.

Automatic Updates
When an update is available, VayT can automatically retrieve and apply the update.
